It's always fun to revamp a room after a few years

I wanted to share a couple of redo's I have recently done , after 5 years with grey stairs I have been wanting a classic black and white scheme , so here it is after 24 hours total painting , well worth the work don't you think?
Also although I loved the pale blue shade and crisp feeling I was longing a stronger more cozy bold feel I simply painted a deep brown, and bought a new antique dresser and striped those, changed the star above the bed to a pale blue one, and added two round mirrors from else where in the house, this was a very inexpensive redo.

I just found your site and am in love with your style. I know what I like when I see it, but I have such a hard time envisioning what I want unless I have a picture! You have given me some great ideas!

Oh Girrrl! we are kindred spirits, I am a Canadian girl transplanted to the states and indulging my love of all things New England. We could probably rhapsodize for hours about trim and I would love to be locked in a Home Depot overnight ( I have given my husband directions to bury me in a beadboard box). I miss Sarah Richardson here in the states and think Coby Ladner would be a great girlfriend...Can't wait for your next post, your girls are adorable..I have a Petite Decor YaYa myself.
