What a transformation a few coats of paint can make , I painted my dining room table black , the contrast makes for a striking mix .

I wanted to allow light into the basement staircase . I cut out some drywall to see if there were any studs in my way , and luckily there were none, so the hole could be . Where could you use a little bit of light ?

It looks great. The table is so stunning painted black. Where did you get the crown on the bench? Love it. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

I love my black table... and if the kids scratch it, I've been known to use a Sharpie for quicky repairs!!! *gasp* LOVE that you put a hole in a wall! LOL

Your home is gorgeous. I have a love for interior design myself. I began as a child, too. Still have those drawings of house plans with my furniture all arranged from my early years. I really enjoyed your photos and got some great ideas -thank you for sharing.
