Dining room before
Can you spot all of the changes ?
A standard oak staircase had the carpeting removed and painted in a classic colour scheme, as well a berber runner was added for softness , much less expensive than re-surfacing
Adding a good mix of pieces and casual fabrics creates a comfortable and not stuffy living room , the fussy off limits room is dead not to mention a waste of space.
Painted stock cabinets with trim moulding creates an affordable custom kitchen , don't fear painting your old dated wood cabinets , can you add an island ? charming lighting?

Adding beadboard trim , hooks and shelving makes this mudroom very hard working , adding a chalkboard adds a fun and youthful sense of humor

Love your kitchen! I am in the process of renovating my kitchen and doing gray cabinets with black counters and white subway tiles. Could you tell me where you found your schoolhouse pendants? I am having trouble finding them with the black/bronze rods. Thanks!
